How to use or not use a Smartphone

When using your smartphone standing, bring your hands up so the phone is facing you. If you need to do this for more than a minute, support your elbows on the back of a chair or a counter. Look at your options where you are. It will literally save your neck!

When sitting, as in the picture above, you start by leaning forward, allow your spine to soften into length so your head and tailbone are opposite each other, then use your thighs closer to your knees as support for your elbows.
The phone ends up facing your eyes in the best of angles and you are again saving your neck!

Reminder: It is not about how straight you look from your head to your seat. It is about releasing muscles so your skeletal structure can freely expand. More on natural posture coming up in the course.
