PART 2 – ARMS/TORSO RELATIONSHIP

Cécile Raynor November 23, 2021

In Part 2, you first discover the relationship between your arms and your torso. Then you see how this relationship relates to the head and neck relationship.

Although your head is not directly connected to your right hand or left foot as a body part, all body parts are directly connected by a complex set of relationships that are meant to work together harmoniously.

For instance, you will discover later in the course that what happens in your neck or shoulders is often connected to the relationship they have with your feet and especially your knees.

That is why the relationship between body parts is what matters most for your wellbeing. How they relate to each other matters more than the perfect positioning of these parts according to a common ideal.

You will unlearn throughout the course the common belief that good posture is the result of “correct positioning”. More and more, you will discover for yourself that good posture is an expression of a body that is functioning as an integrated whole.
